Wir sind hier! / Wedi cyrraedd / We're here

Wie geht's? / Shwd mae? / How are you all?

Wir sind in Deutschland! Das Wetter ist toll - sehr warm und viel besser als in Wales! Die Fahrt mit dem Bus und der Fähre war gar kein Problem. Die Kinder waren heute wunderbar - ich bin sehr stolz als Lehrerin in Bro Edern! Morgen werde ich den Weinberg besuchen. Ich freue mich schon darauf!

Rydyn ni wedi cyrraedd Grünstadt yn saff ar ôl taith hollol ddidrafferth, gydag ymddygiad a Chymreictod y disgyblion yn wych. Mae pawb wedi cwrdd â'u partneriaid ac wedi mynd adre am y noson erbyn hyn. Mae'n dwym iawn yn yr Almaen heno - roedd hi'n bach o sioc wrth i ni ddod oddi ar y bws, oherwydd mae'r gwahaniaeth tymheredd rhwng Grünstadt a Chaerdydd yn enfawr!

Wedi sortio'r disgyblion a'r gyrrwyr bws, aeth y staff i gael bwyd mewn bwyty yng nghanol gwinllan leol. Erbyn i ni orffen bwyta, roedd pawb yn barod am y gwely! Rydyn ni i gyd yn edrych ymlaen at fynd i weld gwinllan Mr Siebert bore fory a dysgu am sut mae gwin yn cael ei gynhyrchu yn yr ardal hon. Bydd y rhestrau archebu'n ymddangos, dwi'n siwr! Auf Wiedersehen!

We're here safe and sound after a very hassle free trip with exemplary behaviour from all. We arrived slightly early and met our partners and their families on the school yard. After a quick photo shoot, everyone collected their cases and went off with their host families. Lots of families had plans for our pupils this afternoon, and all pupils seems to be relieved to meet their partners and their families here in Grünstadt and left looking happy. The staff went to sort out the drivers' accommodation and then set off for a local restaurant which is in the middle of a vineyard. Tomorrow we visit Mr Siebert's vineyard which is close to school. At the moment the weather is scorching here - a real difference was felt by all when we came off the bus in Grünstadt, and we were all slightly overdressed compared with the Germans, as you can see in the group photo. Nos da!
